Acclaim Lighting, a leader in innovative and advanced lighting technology, introduces its Flex Tube Gen 2 Series, a line of flexible direct view LED strips that features single color, dynamic white, multiple colors and color control for indoor and outdoor applications. The flexible, direct view LED strip light series includes:
- Flex Tube SC, a single color, indoor/outdoor LED strip available in multiple color temperatures and mounting orientations
- Flex Tube DW, a dynamic white, outdoor LED strip with the ability to create multiple CCTs of dedicated white with a single fixture
- Flex Tube Spectrum, an outdoor LED strip with the ability to create dedicated whites, dynamic white, and color changing from the same product
- Flex Tube Pixel, an LED strip that features individual control of every 3.28” (83.34mm) section
Each of the flexible LED direct view outdoor strips in the Flex Tube Gen 2 Series provides a 120° beam angle, while operating off of 24 VDC power. They deliver up to 228 lumens per foot, nearly doubling the output of the previous generation on some models. The direct view LED strips can be precisely controlled 0 to 100 percent with a DMX/RDM or DALI through Acclaim’s AL Driver Series.
The Flex Tube Gen 2 Series comes in custom-built lengths to suit project requirements and feature a highly durable second-generation silicone body, which is outdoor rated and high impact resistant. In fact, the flexible direct view LED strip is IP68-rated for wet locations and submersible to 6.56 feet, as well as IK08 rated for protection against 5-joule impact.
Easily installed in its locking aluminum mounting channel, Flex Tube Gen 2 will perform in temperatures of -40 to 131 °F. It will maintain 70 percent of its lumens for 50,000 hours. Flex Tube Gen 2 comes with a five-year warranty. For more information about the Flex Tube Gen 2 Series.
