AudioControl is continuing its design, manufacturing, shipping and online training and support processes through the COVID-19 outbreak with the release of the RS 500 mono subwoofer amplifier.

The RS 500 bass amplification solution for a home cinema, a multi-zone audio system or a dedicated music system delivers 500 watts from a 1U chassis into a 4- or 8-Ohm subwoofer, providing the ultimate bass response from any system thanks to high power and solid stability, even into 2 ohms, says AudioControl.

Further, the RS 500 accommodates the needs of integrators with IP and IR control as well as loop outputs with an optional high-pass filter along with balanced, unbalanced and speaker level inputs. These features are coupled with the adjustability of AudioControl’s DSP engine that provides graphic and parametric EQs, and an electronic crossover along with delay and phase controls that are easily accessible for precise calibration and tuning. The RS 500 carries AudioControl’s five-year warranty.

“At AudioControl, we are doing everything possible as a manufacturer and as a longstanding member of the audio/video community to support our important dealer network worldwide,” said AudioControl CEO Alex Camara, in the product announcement statement. “The RS 500 is quite simply the finest subwoofer amplifier out there, and a product that many have been asking us for. We are steadfast in our commitment to manufacture best-in-class audio solutions from our factory here in the United States, and will continue forward supporting our dealers in every way we can.”
