Consistent with its operating premise that healthy living is only possible on a healthy planet, two new-for-2022 appliances from Beko Home Appliances unveiled at the 2022 Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) in Orlando, Fla., have been honored for delivering powerful washing performance while protecting the environment.

Beko’s 24-in. Front-Load Washer featuring RecycledTub, a proprietary wash tub made entirely from 60 recycled plastic water bottles, was recognized by the NKBA Thirty Under 30 Class of 2022 with a 30’s Choice Award in the Sustainability category. Each year at KBIS, the latest class of rising leaders in the appliance industry scour the thousands of new products introduced at the show to determine the best in six performance categories.

The new washer was also recognized by the Designhounds Influencer Network, the leading community of design micro-influencers, managed by Modenus Media, and qualified as a finalist for both the Best-of-KBIS 2022 Awards, considered the kitchen and bath industry’s biggest honor celebrating the most innovative new products of the year; and the prestigious DesignBites on the KBISNeXT Stage.

Beko’s washer combines RecycledTub™ with a number of advanced performance, wellness and energy-saving features to create the healthiest, most sustainable washer on the market.  A highlight is AquaTech technology that uses the power of water to replace harsh drum movements, resulting in up to 50 percent faster wash times that are also up to 50% gentler on fabrics without compromising washing performance.

Since they were introduced in Europe in 2017, washers and dryers with RecycledTub™ have reused 58 million recycled plastic bottles and reduced CO2 emissions by 2,200 tons.

Also recognized by the Designhounds Influencer Network was Beko’s new dishwasher line featuring CornerIntense, a Beko-patented technology that replaces the traditional circular spray arm with a rectangular design to deploy water and detergent to every spot in the wash drum tub, including the corners, to get dishes cleaner using less water.

Beko’s new laundry and dishwasher products are part of the Beko Healthy Kitchenan intersection of health, wellness and sustainability in the American kitchen led by leading-edge designers and health and wellness experts in the Beko Healthy Kitchen Council. With its 35+ new cooking, cooling and cleaning products with proprietary technologies and features, Beko will continue its objective to empower Americans to lead healthier, more sustainable lives.
