Clare Controls, manufacturer of the ClareOne wireless security and home automation system—distributed exclusively by SnapAV—has launched ClareVision, a new line of surveillance cameras and NVRs that support standalone deployment or seamless integration with ClareOne systems.

The line’s two app-controlled, ETL-listed series of cameras, which allow SnapAV pros to compete in the value-priced security segment, are NDAA- and Onvif-compliant.

Clint Choate, SnapAV Senior Director, Security Market, said in a statement: “Surveillance is top of mind in almost every type of installation our pros work on, and the ClareVision lineup provides choice and value that gives SnapAV pros a leg up when bidding for jobs.”

Edge-based storage (SD cards) and features allow SnapAV pros to provide surveillance solutions for projects of varying sizes without requiring NVRs or monthly cloud fees. Larger projects can utilize the new ClareVision NVRs.

The ClareVision mobile app provides ease of use, delivering push notifications and fast, simple access to view live or recorded content.

The new surveillance options include the Value Series, the Performance Fixed Series, and the Performance VF Series. Both the Value and Performance Fixed series offer three streams, basic motion detection, advanced motion detection and human detection to improve event capture. The Performance VF Series’ 4MP model features Motorized Varifocal capability for zooming, in addition to True WDR and low-light performance with the Sony Starvis chip set.

Each camera can operate as a standalone security solution, using the onboard SD card slots or can be paired with one of Clare’s new ClareVision NVRs. The new NVR line includes a 4-channel, 1TB model with 4 PoE ports, an 8-channel, 2TB model with 8 PoE ports, and a 16-channel, 4TB model with 16 PoE ports. The inclusion of virtual channels limits the need for extra NVRs, with the 8-channel model capable of recording from up to 16 cameras, and the 16-channel model supporting up to 32 cameras.

All ClareVision products offer integration with ClareOne and Control4 systems, compatibility with Luma cameras and NVRs, and supports Onvif and Hikvision protocols for add-ons or takeovers.
