DMF Lighting, modular downlighting manufacturer for the custom home integration channel, has launched a purchasing portal, exclusive to the CI channel. The portal features the ability to order complete lighting kits, housing, modules, and trim without a product number. Integrators can select application type, lighting source features, preferred visual aesthetic of the trim and the quantity, while automatically ensuring compatibility.

Not only has DMF streamlined ordering with the portal, but it also has addressed fulfillment. Most orders ship within two business days. With the updated production process DMF has implemented to accommodate additional inventory and faster turnaround, some orders will ship within 24 hours.

In a statement, Mike Libman, National Sales Director, Residential Systems, DMF Lighting, commented: “We know that our customers are busier than ever, so we want to make purchasing our product easier and more convenient for them. Our customers want to be able to order at any time of day and want the process to be simple and error-proof.”

Users are touting the portal’s features. Ryan Shelton, Owner, Twisted Pair Media, Nashville, TN, said: “The site is so intuitive that you don’t really need to know the part numbers, as the portal systematically updates the options available as you select them to configure parts correctly.”

In other news, DMF Lighting will be featured in ProSource‘s new Lighting Technology and Learning Center (LTLC) in the Dallas Market Center. The A/V integration buying group’s new center is set to open in Q1 2021. The DMF Lighting display will include the award-winning DID Series lighting modules, which provide field-changeable optics and accessories for both downlights and adjustable accent lights. The series also includes proprietary integrated power systems for simplified installation, soft on/off, and smooth dimming down to 1% with local or centralized control systems. The DID Series modular design allows it to be interchangeable during and after installation to adapt to homeowner preference, room redesign and retrofit projects.

DMF Lighting’s new portal for the CI channel automatically configures parts and eliminates errors so customers can purchase complete lighting kits quickly and easily.

The DMF Lighting Display will also feature the DID Series-powered OneFrame and SquareFrame recessed lighting systems, which meet all building codes relative to a recessed light fixture; are fire-rated; STC/IIC sound-rated; IC-rated; air tight; and wet location- and DID4 damp location-rated.

DMF Lighting’s DCC LED Cylinder used in the Lighting and Learning Center is available in cord, stem, and surface-mount configurations in decorative shades with various trim accessories.

Also part of the display is DMF’s DRD5 LED downlights, which easily mount into Surface Frame or a standard 3O or 4O junction box, are closet-rated, and offer dimming to 5%. The downlights are available in 4” round/square, 8” round, or 18×4” rectangle.

“In addition to the hands-on live Level 2 curriculum for the exclusive ProSource Lighting Technology Certification program, the [LTLC] provides an opportunity for Dallas Market Center retail and design-build customers to learn about lighting applications and advancements, and is available for individual ProSource members and vendors to host exclusive influencer and customer events,” noted Libman.
