Nortek Security & Control (NSC) brand ELAN today announced the shipment of the ELAN SC-100 System Controller. The entry-level controller was designed with smaller installations in mind to further expand the possibilities for ELAN integrators and homebuilders on any project. Powered by a high-performance, quadcore processor, the ELAN SC-100 is used where single-point control is required for media, climate, lighting, and more.

Homeowners can opt to add the ELAN HR10 handheld remote to their system as part of a bundle. This extra device will provide everything a user needs to unite their media experience. The ELAN single room control solution can be used to control all media and entertainment in one room while the ELAN app can control and automate lighting, temperature, and door locks. ELAN’s new single room solution is cloud managed so that dealers can monitor their deployed systems and ensure their software is always up to date.
“The new compact design allows easy installation in cabinets, structured wiring cabinets and even behind a display,” said Jeff Shaw, ELAN product manager. “And the ELAN SC-100 in extender mode enables use with gSC series controllers on larger projects that require multiple rooms, floors and properties and that have attached products from all our custom brands. Coming right on the heels of our new ELAN surveillance lineup, integrators have more choices to satisfy more customers.”
The ELAN SC-100 is now available for order by Authorized ELAN Dealers. The retail price for the Controller and Remote Control is $999 before labor and installation.
