Ethereal, a provider of custom integration solutions, will be bringing its line of Big Dog Power products to CEDIA Expo 2023, September 7-9, at booth #3143. The line was launched last June.
One product on display will be the PR-R13PI, a multifunctional power distribution unit that delivers surge protection, remote control, smart home integration, rack temperature management, and more. It has 12 individually controllable outlets that feature power metering, self-healing, and automatic reboot capabilities for smarter and easier remote management of connected devices. Devices can be turned on and off without requiring an internet connection, allowing for scheduled reboots and a network equipment power reset.
Integrators can see the percentage of remaining surge protection on the MAVBase.com web portal or through the MAVBase iOS or Android app. Two removable surge protection modules can be replaced without sacrificing the entire PDU, making this solution cost-effective.
Temperature control can also be automated with four magnetic temperature sensors that can be programmed to turn outlets on or off controlling the effected devices. Three alternate, scaled-down versions of this product are available to suit the needs of smaller systems.
