The HDBaseT Alliance, the cross-industry association tasked with promoting and advancing the HDBaseT standard, used the CEDIA Expo Virtual stage to announce what they are calling, “The Only Fully Uncompressed Solution in the Market Today.”

HDBaseT continues to revolutionize the AV market as their HDBaseT Spec 3.0 now enables the long-distance distribution and convergence of ultra-high-speed, uncompressed audio & video (HDMI 2.0), 1Gb Ethernet, USB 2.0, controls and power, with zero latency.

Highlights include:

  • HDMI 2.0 4K@60 4:4:4 for up to 100m/328ft over a category cable, supporting all resolutions up to 594MHz
  • Support for HDCP2.x and 1.x authentication and encryption
  • Support for Dolby Vision, HDR10, HDR10+
  • 1Gb Ethernet
  • Audio – S/PDIF, I2S-4 for 7.1 channel full surround system
