Home Technology Specialists of America (HTSA), international trade consortium of high-performance residential technology retail and custom integration specialists, will offer its Tommapalooza by HTSA training event at the upcoming CEDIA Expo in Indianapolis running August 31 – September 3, 2021. Tommapalooza by HTSA is comprised of three days (August 30 – September 3) of education with multiple class tracks on important technologies and topics.

This all-new, expanded three-day event will benefit HTSA members with a comprehensive class schedule – and for the first time ever – will offer an all-new Industry Education Day making HTSA’s educational resources available to all attendees at Expo, while also launching HTSA’s first-ever Keynote presentation.

For the first two days – Monday, August 30, and Tuesday, August 31 – the agenda will open with a comprehensive HTSA member-only training schedule, focusing heavily on lighting design. The lighting design courses offered by HTSA at the 2021 CEDIA Expo will be taught by lighting designer and educator Peter Romaniello, owner of Conceptual Lighting, member of the International Association of Lighting Designers and experienced educator. 

Additional content includes Keith Esterly’s Relationship Science course; Cleerline SSF Basic Certification course; Large Project Success with Richard Milson; and several vendor showcases. 

On Wednesday, September 1, Tommapalooza by HTSA proudly presents Industry Education Day, a day where anyone attending CEDIA can take advantage of the organization’s educational programs. Following the model for the member education days, HTSA will also offer a full schedule of three tracks of content running from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm on Wednesday Industry Education Day

The lighting courses being offered include: The Business of Lighting Design, Lighting Design for Living Spaces, Lighting Design for Kitchens, and Lighting Design for Master Suites. These lighting courses are all being taught by Peter Romaniello. Also, Keith Esterly will offer a 90-minute course on his popular Relationship Science Concepts. 

HTSA will also hold a series of roundtables on topics including:

HTSA events will take place at the organization’s headquarters at the Indiana Convention Center in Meeting Rooms 204, 205, 206, and 207.
