Custom window treatment manufacturer, Hunter Douglas, is celebrating a milestone. Its Custom Integrator Program (CIP) membership now includes 300 home technology integration professionals nationwide.
Launched in late 2019, the CIP supports integrators in specifying automated window treatment solutions, such as the new PowerView+™ hardwired automated shade and the Rechargeable Battery Wand.
Integrators in the CIP receive technical training and sales support to help drive new business in the custom window treatment category. Members also have access to design options and shade styles compatible with PowerView Automation and the new PowerView+, including the Designer Roller Shades, Silhouette® Window Shadings, Duette® Honeycomb Shades, plus to other products.
In addition to the training and sales support, members of the program are granted access to sample books and presentation tools for use when meeting with clients. To that end, Hunter Douglas has launched a mobile selling tool for dealers for simple access as well.
Further strengthening its commitment to integrators, the Hunter Douglas Installation Service (HDIS) is available as an “end-to-end solution that guarantees accurate measuring and proper shade installation, delivered by a nationwide network of independent partners,” the company stated.
The HDIS also includes a one-year guarantee on the installation; a five-year warranty on PowerView; and a lifetime warranty on the shades.
The company is also growing its team focused on custom integrators. Appointments include Bruce Weyhe as Senior Director of Strategic Partnership Sales, a newly created role. Weyhe and his team will focus on strategic sales channels for Hunter Douglas, including custom integrators.
Maren Gehling, who has worked in product management for Hunter Douglas for nine years, is now National Sales Manager, Custom Integrators. She has worked on many projects, including the development of the PowerView® Automation system
