Stewart Filmscreen has announced the release of its new Luxus retractable projector screen system – a product that the company says brings the largest number of enhancements ever in a single product release.
This latest innovation from Stewart is the result of a year-long collaboration between Stewart’s engineering, sales, and scientific team members. The new Luxus, according to the company, represents the latest worldwide industry standard for what a high-performance 16K+ retractable projector screen system can deliver.
“We’ve taken Luxus to new heights for style, convenience and affordability with several significant improvements. Luxus now scales up to 209 inches in diagonal in 16:9 format with a 12-inch black drop — which means a truly big image for those seeking the ‘wow’ cinema experience. The new Luxus now has a slimmer case, and the controls and roller assembly can easily be accessed from the front of the screen,” said Mary Stewart, CEO and owner of Stewart Filmscreen.
The new Luxus mounting bracket now allows the screen case to slide horizontally for proper centering, which enables a perfect-fit installation on the wall or the ceiling. Stewart adds that the design constitutes a “customer-centric” approach, additionally citing the screen’s new Intelligent Motor Control (IMC) with 12v trigger which supports all major third-party remote control systems.
Competitively priced and shipping worldwide, the new Luxus is immediately available for dealer orders, says the company.
