CEDIA 2023 has come to a close. That means designers and integrators are leaving with their pockets full of business cards and their heads filled with new ideas for future projects. Here are some of the most exciting TVs we saw at CEDIA 2023.

Leon x Sony Electronics and Samsung Electronics

CEDIA witnessed the debut of two collaborations; both included Leon, a family-owned and operated company that creates custom AV concealment solutions. At CEDIA, Leon showcased its collaborations with Sony Electronics and Samsung Electronics for their Framed TVs. The TV screens are designed to display images that mimic artwork when not in use, and the frame completes the aesthetic. Leon is particularly renowned for its technology frames, making collaborating with electronic device manufacturers Sony and Samsung a designer or integrator’s dream.

A frame may appeal to integrators/designers looking for a dual-purpose TV that can turn into art when not in use. A black-boxed TV does not have to disrupt a modern home’s sleek and smooth design. Designers and integrators can order a custom frame for TVs and the corresponding subwoofers to transform a drab space into a mainstage.

New LED TVs from Sony and Samsung

Speaking of Sony and Samsung, both electronics giants unveiled new LED screens. Samsung took a big swing at the TV market with the 98-inch Neo QLED 8K TV, one of the largest TVs in its lineup. Not only is this TV huge, but it has 8K AI-neural processing and Mini LED technology. The newest QLED TV also has object-tracking sound, meaning that sound follows movement on the screen, providing an even more immersive entertainment experience.

Sony announced the BRAVIA XR X90L 4k HDR Full Array LED Google Lineup. The five new X95L models in the series range from X95L to A80L OLED. All five TVs have a new Cognitive Processor XR that can increase brightness and decrease blooming. For a more immersive audio experience, the BRAVIA series TVs can pair with Sony soundbars and offer 360 spatial sound Mapping. All TVs are equipped with Google TV as well.

SKYWORTH Google TV

If a Google TV is a must-have, tech enthusiasts and integrators can also look forward to the SKYWORTH Clarus S1 Google TV. The Clarus S1 is a Full Sun TV with a screen that, even in direct sunlight, will still have a brightness of 3,000 nits in addition to possessing anti-glare properties. The sun is not all that the Clarus S1 can withstand, however. It is also designed to tolerate extreme weather, with temperatures ranging between -20 and 130 degrees Fahrenheit. SKYWORTH also boasts a metal enclosure that is both dustproof and waterproof, making it a TV for every person, occasion, and climate.

When it comes to picking a piece of tech for a project, integrators and designers have the option to choose which appliance fits a space and assess its attributes to determine if it is the right choice. With so many great products on display at CEDIA Expo 2023, hopefully, integrators and designers can leave with some inspiration for their next project.
