A/V distribution and electronics accessory products brand Vanco International has introduced Beale Basics, a new custom installation speaker series, rounding out its Beale Street Audio brand. The line consists of six high-quality, cost-conscious, installer-friendly in-ceiling speaker models, (including a pendant speaker), designed for residential and commercial applications, and will begin shipping next week.
The Beale Basics line consists of five in-ceiling speaker models including the IC6-BSC (two-way design with 6.5-inch woofer), and IC8-BSC (two-way design with 8.5-inch woofer), suitable for residential installations.
The IC6V-BSC and IC8V-BSC (shown above) offer the same components as their residential counterparts but in 70V for commercial applications. The Beale Basics line also includes the IC6DT-BSC, featuring dual-tweeters and a 6.5-inch woofer for environments where installing a single speaker is more ideal. Each model features a pivoting titanium dome tweeter, Kevlar woofer, butyl rubber surround, and a frameless design that disappears into the ceiling. Beale Basics speakers make for easier installs, says the company, as they use Beale’s ‘dog’ mounting system and magnetic grilles; they further feature an environment equalizer that allows integrators to tailor the sound (by ±3dB) to the specific room or listener’s preference.
Rounding out the Beale Basics line is the WP6V-BSC on-wall/pendant speaker, featuring a 6.5-inch woofer encased in a black pendant speaker enclosure that is weather-resistant, for both indoor and outdoor environments. Its unique mounting system allows it to be hung from the ceiling or mounted to a wall.
The Beale Basics line was designed as an in-ceiling speaker solution for secondary rooms and budget-conscious installations, “offering integrators the same quality of products they have come to expect from Beale Street Audio, but at price points that are even more attainable,” said Vanco’s Director of Audio, Randy Blanchard. “With the addition of Beale Basics to the Beale Street Audio lineup, integrators can now source a single brand for every custom installation speaker need from high-end applications to budget-conscious installations.” The speakers come with a limited lifetime warranty.
