Beaverton, OR – August 1,2023 – The Z-Wave Alliance, a standards organization dedicated to advancing the smart home, has developed a power-packed line up of education sessions that will be presented at CEDIA Expo has part of the CEDIA Education Conference Program. The three sessions will help attendees analyze new markets they can pursue and get fully up to speed on the protocols that will continue to define the smart home landscape.

CEDIA’s Integrated Home Market Analysis (IHMA), released in the spring of 2022, found that dealers overwhelmingly served the Uber Luxury and Luxury segments while only 40% served mid-market. The mid-market tier has a large addressable customer base. These potential clients are tech savvy with disposable income and yet, the majority of integrators aren’t working in the middle market and don’t know how. This session will dive into what solutions for this market can look like

Platform Playground Returns: Smart Home Protocols in 2023 and Integrator Impact

Smart System Cuts Hotel Energy Consumption by 20%

Using a real-world project case study, this session will explore the benefits of smart systems for decreasing energy consumption while maintaining a convenient, comfortable experience for inhabitants. This panel will further discuss familiar aspects where integrators can demonstrate expertise and the special considerations for large properties.
